Fee transparency

Check Your Mutual Fund Fees.

Two things we found in Canadian mutual fund filings. Both potentially cost investors money they never agreed to pay.

Your portfolio

Is your portfolio one of them?

Search for the funds you hold, or upload a redacted statement and we'll read it for you. Add as many as you like — we'll show the displayed MER, the real total fee, and how your yield stacks up against it.

🔒 Nothing you enter here is saved. Fund searches, uploaded statements, and the amounts you type are used only to calculate the numbers below, then discarded when you leave the page.

A fair question

High fees aren't automatically a problem.

Paying more only matters if you're not getting more value back. Before you make any changes, ask yourself:

  • 01Is your portfolio ready for a public market correction?
  • 02Is your portfolio properly diversified?
  • 03Are you getting good value and advice for the fees you are paying?
  • 04Is your portfolio tailored to your situation, or is it just off-the-shelf?
  • 05Would you prefer lower fees for a more standardized approach?
